Tips for Staying Healthy:
A Guide for Teens
- Get enough sleep (at least 8-9 hours a night)
- Eat a healthy diet including at least 5-7 servings of fruits and vegetables per day
- Take a multivitamin with folic acid and get at least 1300 mg of calcium every day
- Exercise at least 30 minutes most days of the week
- Don't smoke
- Learn to manage stress
- Take time every day to do something you enjoy!
Spend time with friends, play sports, work with your hands, play music,
read, make art, cook, etc.
